Cetara

Small seafaring town, Cetara is a paradise dipped in the nature, between sea, citrus groves, barren and impassable zones; it is one of the most characteristic towns of the Amalfi Coast.
Cetara is still today a small fascinating village, and it looks out to the crystalline sea: the small and evocative beach is dominated by the Torre Vicereale, a tower that is dated back to the 14th century but was modified many times in the course of the centuries. Moreover, they are interesting: the church of San Francesco, dated to the 17th century, with a convent attached, and the romanesque church of San Pietro, patron saint of the city of Cetara.
The gastronomy of Cetara is famous for the use of tuna and anchovies: thanks to the presence of numerous fishermen, the fish is the main food of the area.
